Soft Lift Facial Rejuvenation
Soft Lift™ is a customized facial rejuvenation treatment that combines Botox® Cosmetic and Juvéderm® dermal fillers within one comprehensive treatment plan.
Botox® Cosmetic is used to temporarily relax selected facial muscles responsible for dynamic expression lines, while Juvéderm® dermal fillers can be used to restore or add volume, soften certain lines and folds, and enhance facial contours.
At View Laser in Delta and Tsawwassen, Dr. Martin Ray creates each Soft Lift™ treatment plan based on your facial anatomy, movement, volume distribution, skin quality and individual aesthetic goals.
A Soft Lift™ treatment plan may address multiple facial concerns, including:
- Dynamic forehead and expression lines
- Frown lines between the brows
- Crow’s feet
- Facial volume loss
- Cheek and mid-face volume
- Certain facial lines and folds
- Chin and jawline contours
- Lip volume and definition
- Changes in facial proportions associated with aging
The areas treated will depend on your facial anatomy, individual concerns and Dr. Ray’s assessment.
Soft Lift™ combines two different injectable treatment approaches to address multiple aspects of facial aging within a personalized treatment plan.
Botox® Cosmetic temporarily reduces activity in selected facial muscles responsible for dynamic expression lines. This can soften the appearance of lines that develop with repeated facial movement while allowing surrounding muscles to continue functioning naturally.
Juvéderm® dermal fillers contain hyaluronic acid and may be used to restore or add volume, enhance selected facial contours, and soften the appearance of certain lines and folds.
Rather than treating each concern in isolation, Dr. Ray assesses the face comprehensively, considering facial proportions, movement, volume distribution and how different areas relate to one another.
Treatment is performed using fine needles, cannulas or a combination of techniques depending on the product, area and treatment objective.
Appointment length varies according to the extent of your individualized treatment plan.
Before treatment, Dr. Ray will review your medical history, medications, supplements, previous injectable treatments, allergies and aesthetic goals.
Let View Laser know if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, have an active infection or skin condition near the proposed treatment area, have previously experienced reactions to injectable products, or take medications or supplements that may affect bleeding or bruising.
Additional preparation instructions may be provided based on your treatment plan.
Temporary redness, swelling, tenderness and bruising may occur following treatment.
Avoid rubbing or massaging treated areas unless specifically instructed by Dr. Ray. Following Botox® Cosmetic treatment, you may be advised to remain upright for approximately four hours and avoid strenuous exercise, saunas and hot yoga for the remainder of the day.
After dermal filler treatment, strenuous exercise, excessive heat and pressure on treated areas may need to be temporarily avoided.
Because Soft Lift™ combines different injectable treatments, you will receive individualized aftercare instructions based on the products and areas treated.
Contact View Laser promptly if you experience unexpected or worsening symptoms, including significant pain or changes in skin colour following dermal filler treatment.
