Before your first appointment, you will receive a comprehensive questionnaire covering your medical history, aesthetic history and current concerns. We recommend completing this at least 48 hours before your visit so the team can prepare for your consultation.
During your appointment, Dr. Ray will review your history, listen to your concerns and complete an individual assessment. This is also an opportunity to discuss what you like about your appearance, what you may want to address and what matters most to you when considering treatment.
If treatment is appropriate, Dr. Ray will explain the available options, expected outcomes, potential risks, recovery and recommended timing. Where helpful, you may also be shown before-and-after photographs from consenting View Laser patients to help you understand realistic treatment outcomes.
There is no expectation that you proceed with treatment. The goal of your consultation is to give you the information you need to make an informed decision about your care.
View Laser is a physician-directed medical aesthetics clinic serving Delta and Tsawwassen, BC. Medical Director and owner Dr. Martin Ray brings decades of experience in medicine and extensive experience in aesthetic medicine to each patient’s care.
Our approach is comprehensive rather than treatment-driven. We consider facial anatomy, skin health, medical history, lifestyle and your individual goals when developing recommendations.
From injectables and laser treatments to advanced skin treatments and medical-grade skincare, having multiple treatment options available allows us to recommend a plan based on what is appropriate for you rather than approaching every concern with the same solution.
Above all, we believe aesthetic care should feel personal, transparent and informed. We want you to understand your options, why something is being recommended and what you can realistically expect before deciding to proceed.
Virtual consultations may be available when appropriate. Please contact View Laser to determine whether a virtual or in-person consultation is best suited to your needs.
