Morpheus8 RF Microneedling

Morpheus8 is an advanced fractional radiofrequency (RF) microneedling treatment that combines microneedling with controlled radiofrequency energy to target the skin and underlying tissue.

Ultra-fine needles create controlled micro-injuries while delivering RF energy at selected depths beneath the skin’s surface. This combination initiates a natural healing response and supports collagen remodeling and tissue contraction over time.

At View Laser in Delta and Tsawwassen, Morpheus8 treatments are customized according to your anatomy, skin concerns and treatment goals.

  • COST

Treatment starts at $1200. Treatment cost varies depending on the area being treated and whether PRP or AQ is incorporated into your treatment. Your personalized treatment plan and associated costs will be reviewed before treatment. Cosmetic treatments are not covered by MSP.

  • RECOVERY

Temporary redness, swelling, warmth, sensitivity and pinpoint marks are common following Morpheus8. Mild bruising, dryness or crusting may also occur.

Many patients return to their usual activities within a few days, although visible redness or small treatment marks may persist for approximately one week depending on treatment intensity and individual skin response.

  • NUMBER OF TREATMENTS

A series of approximately 3 treatments spaced several weeks apart is commonly recommended, although the number and frequency of treatments depend on your skin, treatment area and individual goals.

Results develop gradually as the tissue heals and collagen remodeling occurs. Improvements may continue to develop over the months following your treatment series.

Maintenance treatments may be recommended based on your individual response and long-term treatment goals.

Depending on your skin, treatment goals and the intensity of your Morpheus8 treatment, your provider may recommend incorporating an advanced regenerative or skin-revitalizing treatment into your treatment plan.

VAMP
A regenerative skin solution containing PDRN, hyaluronic acid, amino acids, vitamins and minerals. VAMP may be incorporated when hydration, skin texture and overall skin revitalization are treatment priorities.

NCTF
A skin-revitalizing formulation containing hyaluronic acid alongside a complex of additional ingredients. NCTF may be selected to support hydration and overall skin quality as part of a customized Morpheus8 treatment plan.

AQ Recovery Serum
A professional growth-factor-based serum designed for use alongside aesthetic skin procedures. AQ may be incorporated following Morpheus8 when supporting post-treatment recovery and overall skin rejuvenation is a priority.

PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma)
PRP is prepared from a sample of your own blood and contains concentrated platelets with naturally occurring growth factors involved in tissue repair and healing. PRP may be combined with Morpheus8 as part of an individualized approach to skin rejuvenation, texture and certain types of acne scarring.

Your provider will determine whether an additional treatment is appropriate and which option best complements your skin, Morpheus8 treatment and individual goals.

Morpheus8 RF microneedling may be used to improve the appearance of:

  • Fine lines and wrinkles
  • Skin laxity
  • Uneven or rough skin texture
  • Atrophic acne scars
  • Enlarged-looking pores
  • Crepey skin
  • Jawline and lower-face skin laxity
  • Submental skin laxity
  • Overall skin quality

Common treatment areas include the face, jawline, neck and décolletage. Other areas may be treated when appropriate following an individual assessment.

Morpheus8 combines fractional microneedling with bipolar radiofrequency energy.

During treatment, fine needles penetrate the skin at selected depths while RF energy is delivered into the targeted tissue. The combination of controlled mechanical and thermal injury initiates the body’s natural repair response while the radiofrequency energy produces controlled heating within the tissue.

Treatment depth and energy can be adjusted based on the area being treated, tissue characteristics and desired treatment outcome.

A topical numbing cream is applied before treatment for comfort. Treatment typically takes approximately 30-45 minutes for the face, with larger treatment areas requiring additional time.

Before treatment, let your provider know about medications, supplements, prescription skincare, active skin conditions, recent procedures, history of cold sores, abnormal scarring, pigmentation changes or implanted medical devices.

Avoid significant sun exposure and tanning before your appointment. Retinoids, exfoliating acids and certain other active skincare products may need to be temporarily discontinued.

Treatment should generally be postponed over active skin infection, open wounds or significantly inflamed skin.

Follow any additional preparation instructions provided by the View Laser team.

Do not wash the treated area until the time recommended by your provider. When cleansing resumes, use gentle skincare and avoid rubbing, scrubbing or aggressively exfoliating the skin.

Temporary redness, swelling, sensitivity and small treatment marks are expected as the skin heals.

Avoid retinoids, exfoliating acids and other potentially irritating active ingredients until your skin has recovered. Makeup, strenuous exercise, swimming, saunas and excessive heat may also need to be temporarily avoided.

Do not pick or remove areas of flaking or crusting. Protect the treated skin from sun exposure and use broad-spectrum sunscreen as directed.

If PRP, VAMP, NCTF or AQ was incorporated into your treatment, you will receive additional aftercare instructions specific to your treatment.
