SKIN BOOSTING TREATMENT

The Juvéderm® Volite skin boosting treatment involves a series of micro-injections of long-lasting hyaluronic acid (HA) throughout the skin. Juvéderm® Volite is made up of HA molecules mildly cross-linked through the patented Vycross™ technology. It absorbs water and brings deep hydration to the treated areas, as well as stimulating collagen and elastin for increased firmness and a noticeable glow.

Skin boosting results will show improved hydration, skin thickness, fewer fine lines and wrinkles, and overall improved radiance. This treatment can also be combined with Morpheus8, ideally either immediately or a few weeks after the skin boosting treatment, as recommended by Dr. Ray.

Treatment Details
Numbing cream is applied 30-45 minutes prior to the treatment, plus optional oral medication 30 minutes before. Skin boosters are HA which may or may not be cross-linked. A minute amount of the product is injected multiple times by needle directly into the dermis/skin. Injections are millimetres apart.

Recovery & Results
Results can be seen within weeks; optimal results may take up to 6 weeks to be apparent. Skin will have small bumps from the product that may take up to 1 week or sometimes over 1 week to resolve. There will also be some initial bleeding and bruising that will resolve in approximately 1 week or less; this can be covered with makeup. Patients may resume normal daily activities within 4 hours of the treatment. We typically recommend a series of 3 treatments, 4 weeks apart.
