SCARRING
A scar is a visible mark on the skin where fibrous connective tissue has developed. Scarring may be the result of injury or trauma, surgery, or a medical condition such as acne or chicken pox.
Scars may appear in different shapes, forms, and colouration. Treatment options for scars will include a skin care program to improve the quality and health of the skin, a surgical revision of the scar, injections, or a variety of lasers, depending on the type of scar.
