JAW PAIN (TMJ)
One out of three people suffer from jaw pain associated with clenching, grinding, arthritis, and trauma. Generally considered temporomandibular joint disorders (TMJ), this problem can lead to degeneration of the joint, cracking or abnormal wear of teeth, chronic headaches, and expensive dental work.
The use of Botox® to relax both the masseter and temporalis muscles can dramatically improve this condition.
Please note that although we recommend patients check with their insurance provider, the BC MSP and most third-party providers in Canada don’t cover this procedure.
Affected areas:
Jaw, chin, mouth, teeth, ears, and face.
