CoolSculpting® is a safe, non-surgical way to treat stubborn fat resistant to diet and exercise. This innovative technology targets and cools unwanted fat cells to induce a noticeable, natural-looking reduction in fat bulges.

During your consultation Dr. Ray will determine if one or more treatments is best suited for your body-contouring goals. During treatment the device is positioned to draw the treatment area up between two cooling panels. Patients feel a firm pull and pressure sensation as the selected tissue is efficiently cooled and fat cells are crystallized. These cells gradually die, allowing the remaining fat cells to condense and reduce the fat layer.

Treatment Details
Each treatment typically takes approximately 60 minutes, depending on the treatment area and the patient’s aesthetic goals. Most patients can return to normal activities immediately; some may experience redness, minor bruising, tingling, numbness, or discomfort in the treated area, but this is temporary and will usually resolve within the week. Allergan’s Premier Crystal CoolSculpting® fat-freezing technology is used in this treatment.

Recovery & Results
Results may start to appear as quickly as 3 weeks after the treatment; the most dramatic results will be apparent after 1-3 months and will continue for up to 4-6 months. Long-term results will remain. We strongly recommend supporting results by maintaining a healthy lifestyle.
